(b) Previously declared.The distributions declared today have been declared pursuant to each Fund's level rate dividend policy. Based upon estimates made by each Fund, it is not expected that any of the distributions declared today include any amounts greater than the distributions and interest received or accrued on such Fund's investments in excess of expenses and costs of leverage or net realized capital gain from sales of securities in the current year. Because each Fund has substantial investments in real estate investment trusts which may classify distributions to each Fund subsequent to the end of a calendar year as, generally, ordinary income, net capital gain or return of capital, it is possible that some portion of the distributions declared by each Fund will be similarly characterized for tax purposes subsequent to year end.
