NEWTON, Mass., Dec 21, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RMR Asia Pacific Real Estate Fund (NYSE Amex: RAP) today announced aspecial distribution consisting of net investment company taxable incometo common shareholders. The distribution of $0.40 per common share willbe paid on or about January 29, 2010 to holders of record of commonshares as of the close of business on December 31, 2009.
In compliance with Section 19 of the Investment Company Act of 1940, anotice will be provided for any distribution that does not consistsolely of net investment income. Such a notice will be for informationalpurposes only, and will disclose, among other things, estimated portionsof the distribution, if any, consisting of net investment income,capital gains and return of capital. No such notice will be includedwith the distribution announced today because, based upon informationcurrently available to RAP, RAP believes this distribution consistssolely of income received from its investments.
