RMR Asia Pacific Real Estate Fund Announces Portfolio Manager Change

NEWTON, Mass., May 04, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RMR Asia Pacific Real Estate Fund (NYSE Amex: RAP) today announced that John K. Snowden, CFA, will serve as Portfolio Manager of the Fund. Mr. Snowden will replace Roberto Versace who resigned from MacarthurCook Investment Managers Limited ("MCK"), the Fund's investment subadvisor, to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Snowden has 23 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining MCK, he was Head of Global Property Securities at Colonial First State Global Asset Management ("Colonial"), where he managed over $7 billion of real estate securities funds around the world. Before joining Colonial, Mr. Snowden was a Managing Director and Head of UBS' Global Real Estate Securities Division for Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Mr. Snowden will be located at MCK's offices in Sydney, Australia.
